I am the Senior Full-time Consultant Cardiologist at Bristol Heart Institute and work mainly in the NHS but I also see Private Patients at Spire Hospital Bristol.

I specialise in heart rhythm disorders but also see patients with a wide range of conditions including chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness, high blood pressure, heart murmurs and any other symptoms suggestive of heart trouble. I also do medicolegal work. I am Cardiac Lead for the Avon, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset Network and Lead Doctor, Cardiothoracic Services, Bristol Heart Institute.

I have been a Consultant cardiologist in Bristol for 16 years, having trained in Cambridge, Oxford, London and Sydney, Australia.

Consultations

I provide a comprehensive diagnostic and therapuetic service. Consultations are the key since many conditions are only diagnosed when a careful history is taken by a Specialist who sees dozens of patients with heart trouble every week.
